HOPE volunteers give 6000+ hours each year–behind the scenes and in front of them–on street outreach, sorting donations, serving meals, admin & office work, tabling festival booths, hosting fundraisers and more. With a wide range of opportunities, we’re happy to help you find a role that fits your social mission and ours.

Prepare a protein-based meal of an entree, side dish, and optional dessert for 15 people at home, and deliver to our evening meal site. HOPE supplies disposable pans for all of our Soup Angels. Make it a monthly commitment or on an as-needed basis.

Volunteers arrive at our shelter site at 5:30PM in the evening to set-up, serve, and clean after dinner. Groups–donating and serving one meal a month is a great way to engage your organization. These are 2-hour shifts with an interactive role with our clients. Must be 18 years of age.

Teams of two volunteers go out in shifts during day/evening hours, bringing supplies, information, community, and conversation to our clients who are not engaged in services. This role is highly interactive and is most important during colder weather. Volunteers must 18 years of age.

Youth, 17 & Under

Youth around the community regularly connect with HOPE through fundraiser or donation drives that supply basic needs for our unhoused folks like coats, socks, toiletries, etc. Kids can also provide non-perishable meals, make fleece blankets to keep the community warm, or host a holiday gift giving tree.

HOPE is an authorized community service organization for Longmont and Boulder County. Please fill out the Community Service application and we will contact you shortly.
